Silence is not Golden

It's cowardice. When learning a new language, your ego wants you to be perfect. It wants you to sound intelligent, sophisticated, and correct.

But you are a baby.

Accept it. You will sound stupid. You will use the wrong verb tense. You will accidentally insult someone's grandmother.

Stop whispering. When you speak a foreign language quietly, you are signaling insecurity. Speak LOUDLY.

1. Make mistakes with confidence.
2. Use big gestures.
3. Laugh at yourself before anyone else can.

Fluency isn't about knowing all the words. It's about being comfortable not knowing them.
